East Asia, China, Yuan Dynasty, ca. 1271 to 1368 CE. A set of 3 hand-built pottery vessels meant to be placed as votive offerings inside of a tomb. First is a squat jar with a flared rim; next is a taller, egg-shaped bottle with a pair of attached handles; and the largest is a taller bottle with a corseted neck bearing vertical ribs. Size of largest: 3″ W x 8.9″ H (7.6 cm x 22.6 cm)

Condition: Each with light abrasions, earthen deposits, and fading to glaze pigment, otherwise intact and very good. Great preservation to overall forms.

Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010
