Pre-Columbian, Mexico to Ecuador, Tlatilco, Chupicuaro, Michoacan, Maya, ca. 1200 BCE to 900 CE. A set of fifteen Pre-Columbian pottery heads from myriad cultures across ancient Mesoamerica as well as a seated pottery figure. The heads exhibit a variety of styles and facial features that show the creative variance between certain cultures. Also included are 2 additional pottery, likely of modern origin. Size of largest: 2.5″ W x 2″ H (6.4 cm x 5.1 cm); 3.2″ H (8.1 cm) on included custom stand.

Condition: All fragments with losses, chips, and abrasions as shown. Some with repairs and light adhesive residue. Three have broken off of their stands and six are missing stands.

Provenance: private Colorado, USA collection acquired in April 2024 via Artemis Gallery, Louisville, Colorado, USA; ex-private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, USA, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000
