Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico, Guerrero region, Mezcala culture, ca. 500 to 200 BCE. A greenstone axe god figure carved in a highly abstracted anthropomorphic form, characterized by a blocky head, simplified torso, and bifurcated legs, with a smooth, dark green surface showing age wear. Such figures are associated with Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica and were possibly reworked from earlier axe heads, likely serving as ritual objects or symbolic representations connected to fertility, ancestry, or protective forces. Size: 4″ L x 2″ W (10.2 cm x 5.1 cm); 6.75″ H (17.1 cm) on included custom stand.

Condition: Pitting and abrasions, with small chips to legs, but otherwise intact. Lustrous polished to high pointed areas.
