East Asia, China, ca. 20th century CE. A carved parrot-form pendant rendered in revival archaic style. The stylized bird is shown in profile with a curved beak and elongated tail, the wings decorated with raised spiral motifs. The body is smoothly contoured and pierced for suspension, allowing it to be worn as a pendant or toggle. Size: 2.8″ L x 0.5″ W (7.1 cm x 1.3 cm)

Condition: Intact and excellent.
