Ancient Central Asia, eastern India, Bengal, Chandraketugarh, ca. 2nd century BCE to 1st century CE. A set of 2 mold-formed terracotta figures shown standing while their bodies are bedecked in flowing garments and sizable finery. Size: 0.9″ L x 1.75″ W x 4″ H (2.3 cm x 4.4 cm x 10.2 cm)

Condition: Each figure with small nicks, minor softening to finer details, and light earthen deposits, otherwise intact and very good. Great figural forms.

Provenance: private southern California, USA collection, acquired before 2000
