Pair Native American Leather & Deer Hoof Rattle Cuffs

Native American, Western United States, ca. late-20th century CE. A pair of dance rattle cuffs made from deer hooves and leather bands, intended to wear on a dancer’s wrists or ankles. The cuff has straps tied to each end, and leather cords are threaded through the pierced tip of the hooves with a red bead on each. This pair is in great condition, and made for dances or powwows, and can be used as intended! Size of leather band: 11.5″ L x 2″ W (29.2 cm x 5.1 cm); hooves: 2.5″ L x 1″ W (6.4 cm x 2.5 cm)
