Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A splendid and quite sizable pottery tripod vessel boasting a deep basin, wide flaring rim, and 3 petite nubbin feet, all enveloped in a warm, red-brown hued slip. Size: 13.1″ Diameter x 9.3″ H (33.3 cm x 23.6 cm)
Condition: Some areas of professional repair with chipping along visible break lines and light restoration over other break lines. Light surface wear as shown with some spots of fire-darkening. Otherwise, impressive presentation with light earthen deposits.
