Native American, southwestern United States, Arizona, Upper Gila River region, Pueblo III, McDonald style, ca. 1200 to 1350 CE; Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico, Chihuahua region, Casas Grandes, ca. 1200 to 1400 CE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery mugs, each with a spherical body and a vertical handle arching off the verso. The Casas Grandes mug exhibits a few bands of corrugation just beneath the rim while the McDonald redware vessel is densely corrugated with white pigment decorating the neck. Size of largest: 6.75″ L x 6.3″ W x 5.375″ H (17.1 cm x 16 cm x 13.7 cm)

Condition: Each with small nicks and light abrasions, with softening to some corrugations, and scattered earthen deposits within interiors, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to overall forms.
