Native American, Southwestern United States, New Mexico, Mimbres Valley, Anasazi or Mimbres, ca. 950 to 1150 CE. A set of 3 ancient artifacts including a stone celt and 2 fragmentary potsherds. The trapezoidal celt is knapped from opaque gray chert, and the potsherds show either a stylized avian head or a portion of a solar disc. Size (celt): 6.8″ L x 2.25″ W (17.3 cm x 5.7 cm)

Condition: Potsherds are fragments of larger ceramic objects as shown; stone celt is intact. Each with nice surface texture throughout.
