Native American, Southwestern United States, Mesa Verde region, Anasazi (Ancestral Puebloan), ca. 1100 to 1300 CE. A deep pottery bowl, formed via the meticulous Pueblo coil-and-scrape technique, with a stable base and tall walls. Inside the white-ground basin is a broad ring of minimalist step patterns enclosed within quartets of parallel rings. Size: 7.125″ L x 6.9″ W x 3.125″ H (18.1 cm x 17.5 cm x 7.9 cm)

Condition: Stabilization to several fissures, with overpainting over infill material along most fissures. Abrasions and light fading to pigment, with minor pitting, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to original motif within basin.
