Native American, Southwestern United States, Southern Colorado Plateau, Anasazi / Ancestral Puebloans, Mesa Verde, McElmo type, ca. 1075 to 1250 CE. A pottery bowl of relatively circular form that was created via the coil-and-scrape technique. Within the basin are parallel rows of repeating, black-painted stepped blocks that inversely correspond with the white areas around them. Size: 6.375″ L x 6.5″ W x 3.7″ H (16.2 cm x 16.5 cm x 9.4 cm)

Condition: Repaired with possible restoration to rim, with resurfacing and light adhesive residue along break lines. Abrasions and fading to pigment, otherwise in great condition. Nice motif within basin.
