Two Prehistoric Jeddito Pottery Bowls

Native American, North America, Arizona, Antelope Mesa, Jeddito, ca. 1325 to 1600 CE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery bowls of the Jeddito yellow ware type. The first bowl exhibits a uniform orange-yellow hue with a four-pointed star in the middle, and the larger bowl bears a light yellow hue with an encircled X symbol in the center. Size of largest: 7.40″ Diameter x 3.125″ H (18.8 cm x 7.9 cm)

Condition: Both vessels with professional repair and restoration, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines. Each vessel with light abrasions and fading to pigment, otherwise in nice condition. Great preservation to motifs.
