Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo (Dine), ca. mid 20th century CE. A bold sterling silver bracelet centered by a large, flat turquoise stone with rich green coloration and natural brown matrix. The stone is set in a form-fitting bezel framed by twisted wire and a granulated edge that adds texture and depth. The bezel is mounted on a wide wearable cuff composed of multiple curved bands. No discernible maker’s marks are present. Size of cuff: 2.2″ Diameter (5.6 cm); gap opening: 1.2″ L (3 cm); stone bezel: 2.9″ L x 2.5″ W (7.4 cm x 6.4 cm); silver quality: 92%; weight: 133 grams

Condition: Vintage condition with wear from use. Dark patina and toning. Scratches and light abrasions to silver. Turquoise has some minor scratches and abrasions, and is tight and secure in the setting. Old writing in ink on the interior of cuff.
