Ancient Near East, Mesopotamia, Sumer, ca. 3100 to 2600 BCE. A hand-carved limestone cylinder seal with a narrow suspension hole drilled through the center. Incised across the surface is a brocade-style diamond or rhomboid pattern. Custom putty rollout included. Size: 0.53″ L x 0.51″ W x 0.59″ H (1.3 cm x 1.3 cm x 1.5 cm)

Condition: Minor chips and abrasions, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to incised motif.
