Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerica & Peru, ca. 300 BCE to 1500 CE. A group of 4 stone beads and a stone pendant. The Maya stone pendant features a stylized face wearing earspools. Included are two chrysocolla disc beads, likely from Peru, showing vivid blue-green tones with earthy matrix and central perforations. A large lilac-hued chalcedony bead with a broad drilled opening, alongside a cylindrical greenstone bead with a deep central bore. Size chalcedony bead: 1.1″ L x 0.8″ W (2.8 cm x 2 cm)

Condition: Chips and abrasions to chrysocolla beads. Mineral encrustations on the face, but otherwise intact.

Provenance: private southwestern Pennsylvania, USA collection, acquired prior to 2000
