Vidal Aguilar (Native American, Santo Domingo Pueblo, b. 1972) ca. late 20th to 21st century CE. A massive pottery olla vessel handmade and painted with a warm beige slip and black pigments on top. The underside is signed by the artist with “SDP” for Santo Domingo Pueblo. Vidal Aguilar is from a distinguished family of potters, that includes the well-known Aguilar sisters, Felipita Aguilar Garcia, and Asuncion Aguilar Cate. Size: 13″ Diameter x 18″ H (33 cm x 45.7 cm)
