Sold

Northern Europe, England, Medieval period, ca. 13th century CE. A lovely vellum leaf from a manuscript of a 13th-century English Bible. Penwork flourishes adorn the margins. Size of page: 4.5″ W x 6.25″ H (11.4 cm x 15.9 cm); of matte: 12″ W x 16″ H (30.5 cm x 40.6 cm)
