Pre-Columbian, Peru, Moche to Inca, ca. 500 to 1500 CE; Native American, United States, Plains Tribes, ca. 1500 to 1800s CE. A pair of stone club or maul hammer heads, one carved from hefty, magnetic hematite and the other from a dense brown stone, likely attributed to a Plains Tribe example. Each is shaped for hafting, with a central groove intended to secure the head to a wooden handle using cord or sinew. Size: 3.25″ L x 2″ W (8.3 cm x 5.1 cm).Size: 3.25″ L x 2″ W (8.3 cm x 5.1 cm)

Condition: Pitting and abrasions to both.
