East Asia, China, ca. 20th century CE. A jade pendant carved in the form of an avian or bat figure, rendered in a nephrite jade stone with cloudy translucence. The stylized form displays broad wings, upturned talon-like feet, and symmetrical raised patterns across the body and limbs, with drilled suspension holes for display or wear. While evoking the form and surface layout of ancient Chinese ritual jade carvings, this piece is of contemporary manufacture. Size: 3″ L x 2.2″ W (7.6 cm x 5.6 cm)

Condition: Intact and great condition.
