Native American, Southwestern United States, Southern Colorado Plateau, Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi), ca. 1075 to 1250 CE. A beautiful, hand-built pottery ladle adorned with intricate black-on-white decoration of nested hachure, steppe, and zigzag motifs. The ladle is defined by a thick handle with a double-peaked end and a large scoop with a thick rim and was created for stirring and serving food. Size: 8″ L x 4″ W x 2.4″ H (20.3 cm x 10.2 cm x 6.1 cm)

Condition: Professionally repaired and restored with some repainting and resurfacing over break lines, all done very well and difficult to notice. Expected light surface wear, but otherwise very nice presentation with mesmerizing decoration.
