Pre-Columbian, Central Coast of Peru, Chancay, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. A petite bichrome pottery pitcher of round-bottomed form with an abstract anthropomorphic female figure emanating from the obverse, her breasts protruding out from beneath a beaded necklace and within the curvature of both arms. Size: 3.4″ L x 3.25″ W x 5″ H (8.6 cm x 8.3 cm x 12.7 cm)

Condition: Abrasions and chips, with fading to pigment, and light earthen deposits, otherwise in great condition. Nice preservation to abstract figural form.
