Ancient Egypt, Predynastic Period, ca. 3650 to 3000 BCE; Coptic Period, ca. 3rd to 5th century CE. A set of 6 Egyptian artifacts comprised of 2 Predynastic stone mace heads and 4 Coptic stone spindle whorls. The mace heads are each of discoid form with a wide socketing hole drilled through the middle. The spindle whorls are of utilitarian form, each with a hole drilled through the center of the body, and the darkest one exhibits wheel-cut grooves on one side. Size of largest: 3.57″ L x 3.40″ W x 1.44″ H (9.1 cm x 8.6 cm x 3.7 cm)

Condition: Each with chips and small losses, otherwise in great condition. Nice surface smoothness commensurate with age.
