Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Nayarit, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A wonderful pair of pottery female figures: a seated, semi-nude woman with one arm behind her head and a standing nude lady placing both hands on her bulging, pregnant belly. Size of larger (pregnant figure): 2.4″ L x 4.6″ W x 7.3″ H (6.1 cm x 11.7 cm x 18.5 cm)
Condition: Pregnant woman has been professionally repaired with restoration and repainting, as well as chipping to pigment; seated woman has professional repair to arms with resurfacing over break lines. Both have expected surface wear as shown, but otherwise very nice presentations with earthen deposits to surface.
