North Pacific, Hawaiian Islands, ca. 1860 to 1890 CE. A stunning piece of wood made of tiger-eye Koa that has been skillfully lathed into a shallow dish, the pattern virtually changing before your eyes as it moves in the light. Size: 11.5″ Diameter (29.2 cm)

Condition: Repaired along one side with old butterfly ties as shown; a great sign of age.
