Pre-Columbian, Northern Peru, Inca, ca. 1400 to 1532 CE. An impressive pottery bowl presenting thick walls that feature a zigzagging, serpentine band with jaguar spots wrapping horizontally around the exterior, all sitting upon a heavy, rounded base. Size: 6.9″ Diameter x 2.9″ H (17.5 cm x 7.4 cm)
Condition: A few minor nicks to surface in areas, but otherwise, intact and excellent with good preservation of painted detail. Old collection label on underside of base. Accompanied by old label from HD enterprises.
