Southeast Asia, Thailand or Cambodia, Khmer, ca. 11th to 13th century CE. A bronze figure of the Buddha wearing long robes with hands raised in the Abhaya mudra and chakra motifs on the hand. Size: 1.8″ W x 5.75″ H (4.6 cm x 14.6 cm)

Condition: Missing pedestal he once stood on. Dark green and russet patina throughout. Softening to finer details. Losses to robe on lower left side and small pitting on verso of head.

Provenance: private southern California, USA collection, acquired before 2000
