A finely carved handheld miniature stone metate, its compact form animated by a single upturned leg that curves like a tail, lending the utilitarian object a subtle, creature-like vitality. Size: 3.7″ L x 2.8″ W x 2.3″ H (9.4 cm x 7.1 cm x 5.8 cm)

Condition: Pitting and weathering as shown. Otherwise, intact and very nice with earthen deposits to surface.
