Samaria, Holy Land ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. This petite mold-made terracotta vessel features a base comprised of three concentric rings with a raised dot in the center, a smooth rounded bottom, two raised semi-circular designs defining the bottom profile of a slender neck channel, a wide wick spout and larger fill hole, a small tab-shaped thumb rest, and rounded shoulders which feature three areas of raised semi-circular geometric motifs. Size: 3.25″ L x 2.375″ W x 1.125″ H (8.3 cm x 6 cm x 2.9 cm).

Condition: Possible areas of loss to fill hole, shoulders, and circular base, minor char marks to wick spout, surface wear indicative of age, and mineral deposits and encrustations throughout.
