1950s Plains Indian Beaded Moccasins (for Baby)- Lot 205, Auction 6/29/2021

Native American, Plains Indians, ca. 1950s CE. An adorable pair of beaded deer hide moccasins, sweet and petite, and made for a baby! Each one is decorated with a beaded flower presenting white petals and green foliage, all outlined in red. The glass beads of translucent cherry red, opaque apple green, opaque sage green, metallic silver, and opaque white hues are lane-stitched with sinew. Both moccasins have rawhide soles, tongue, upper instep, and laces. A cute pair indeed! Size: each moccasin measures ~ 4.25″ L x 1.75″ W x 2.5″ H (10.8 cm x 4.4 cm x 6.4 cm)

Condition: Leather is a bit worn. The laces of one display more wear than those of the other. Normal age wear.
