Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. An iron socketed spearhead with an elongated pyramidal form and a partially preserved round socket still containing some wood from the handle. Size: 2.25″ W x 12.8″ H (5.7 cm x 32.5 cm)

Condition: Iron is in a fragmented condition as shown, and has been stabilized using a preservative material. Fractured around the preserved wooden handle. Form of the weapon is generally still clear.
