Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built terracotta flat figure depicting a standing female with clearly delineated womb and genitalia, attenuated arms, rounded shoulders, shoulder pellets, and a beaded pectoral. Her serene visage is comprised of circular eyes and mouth, a protruding nose, elongated ears, and a wide brow with an arching headband. Size: 8.375″ H (21.3 cm); 8.75″ H (22.2 cm) on included custom stand.
Condition: Surface wear commensurate with age, minor pitting and scratching, otherwise excellent with great earthen deposits.
