19th C. German Sterling Silver Toiletry Set – 16 Pieces- Lot 348, Auction 11/30/2020

Europe, Germany, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A set of 16 assorted toiletry items, made from sterling silver, several of which are decorated with inlaid bright blue Greek key motifs, and several of which are engraved with the letters “FRC”. The set includes a mirror, several brushes, a large jar, two scissors, two smaller jars on a tray, a makeup applicator pad, and several small grooming implements. Size of largest piece (mirror): 4.75″ W x 9.9″ H (12.1 cm x 25.1 cm)

Condition: Brushes appear to be used but are in good condition. Very light scratches on surface commensurate with age, but overall in very nice condition. Stamped with “Sterling” and “Germany”.
