An American advertising Victorian entertainment poster called “The Star Boarder” for a show featuring a musical performer known as Charles H. Boyle, an early imitator of John Philip Sousa. He produced an American traveling vaudeville show called “The Star Boarder, That Funny Show”. This poster presents him in seven different poses as he conducts the band.
