Magna Graecia, southern Italy, Apulia, ca. 340 to 325 BCE. A Greek pottery skyphos (wine cup) with a rounded body and horizontal twin loop handles on a short, round, concave foot. The body has a fired glossy black surface with a beautiful silvery patina. Size: 7.7″ W x 3.95″ H (19.6 cm x 10 cm)

Condition: Intact, with some small pitted areas commensurate with age. Nice remaining pigment. Beautiful silvery patina.
