South America, Ecuador, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A coral and brass beaded necklace with two accompanying pendants, each set with religious holy card prints beneath glass. The necklace is a long multi-strand composition of tubular coral beads with brass spacers and three Ecuadorian centavo coins, one bearing a legible date of 1928. At the center hangs a 72% silver pendant with a printed image of the Christ Child with doves, likely cut from a vintage devotional card. The additional 65% silver pendants include one with the Sacred Heart of Christ and dangling cross charms, and another depicting Christ in communion with children, with versos engraved with decorative motifs. Size of necklace strand doubled: 48″ L (121.9 cm); Christ & doves pendant: 2.2″ L x 1.8″ W (5.6 cm x 4.6 cm); silver quality: 65% to 72%

Condition: Good condition with expected wear from age and use. Chips to glass surface layers on the peripheries of the two pendants, otherwise intact. Minor surface wear, light abrasions, and areas of patina to the brass and silver elements.
