East Asia, China, ca. 20th century CE. A small stone carving depicting a simplified civil servant or attendant figure with folded arms and a long robe indicated by gently incised diagonal folds. The head is rendered in a block-like form with minimal facial features. A vertical perforation runs from the top of the head through the base, suggesting use as a pendant, bead, or suspension ornament. Size: 2.2″ L x 0.4″ W (5.6 cm x 1 cm)

Condition: Minor nicks and pitting, otherwise intact, and wearable.
