East Asia, China, ca. 20th century CE. A carved stone pig-dragon pendant with circular body and stylized head, accompanied by a small turquoise hued magnesite bead carved with simple facial features and suspension holes for mounting or jewelry use. Size of largest: 1.7″ L x 1.3″ W (4.3 cm x 3.3 cm)

Condition: Intact and excellent. Magnesite stone is dyed blue.

Provenance: private Great Barrington, Massachusetts, USA collection, 1995 to 2005 or via inheritance
