United States, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A group of four Whitman Lincoln Head Cent coin albums including two “Collection 1909 to 1940 Number One, No. 9004” and two “Collection Starting 1941 Number Two, No. 9030,” each designed with clearly labeled coin slots for organizing a complete penny collection, with the blank slots for future issues filled by the collector through 1961. Size: 7.5″ L x 5.75″ W (19 cm x 14.6 cm)

Condition: Missing coins as shown. Wear to albums, with red pencil marks in upper corners of covers. Pencil marked dates filled in on the blank slots of a Number 2 album.

Provenance: private Sheffield, Massachusetts, USA collection, by inheritance, collected 1970’s
