United States / Europe, ca. 19th to mid 20th century CE. A mixed collection of antique bone, Bakelite, and ivory implements and accessories. The group includes two butterscotch-yellow Bakelite square bangles, a mid 19th century ivory pipe mouthpiece carved in relief with a coiling dragon, three crochet hooks: one molded plastic or Bakelite example faintly marked “Size 5,” one Milward brand hook marked “No. 2 Made in England,” and one hand-carved bone hook with a decorative handle. Also included are two flat, rounded-end bone panels, corset busks or possibly used for paper creasing or as letter openers. Size bakelite squares: 3″ L x 3″ W (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm)
