Near East / Africa, Neolithic period, ca. 10,000 to 6000 BCE. A collection of three ancient stone tools, knapped and shaped for practical tasks such as cutting, scraping hides, or general utility work, each showing flaked surfaces and forms typical of early lithic technology. One example bears a handwritten label reading “Tell el-Ful,” a site associated with the biblical Gibeah and an area known to have been inhabited for thousands of years. Size: 4″ L x 3.25″ W (10.2 cm x 8.3 cm)

Condition: Nice dessert patina, on the dark brown tool. Old inventory numbers and findsite written on the surfaces.

Provenance: private Denver, Colorado, USA collection, acquired prior to 2002
