Pre-Columbian, Mesoamerica, ca. 300 BCE to 500 CE. A pair of dense pottery figurines with simple incised facial features, defined necks, and compact bodies with the torsos reduced to fingertips resting across the chest. Their rounded form and small scale fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, suggesting use as handheld ritual or devotional objects. Size: 2.75″ L x 1.75″ W (7 cm x 4.4 cm)
Condition: Chips and abrasions to both, with softening to incised lines.
