North America, likely Northeastern United States, Middle to Late Devonian Period, ca. 390 to 360 million years ago. A fossiliferous matrix stone densely covered with preserved marine shells, forming a textured surface of overlapping impressions and partial shell forms. Findsite is unknown, though the material resembles Devonian fossil beds known from the northeastern United States. Size: 10.25″ L x 6″ W (26 cm x 15.2 cm)

Condition: Losses to fossils as shown and abrasions to surface. No repairs.
