Beautiful Silver Necklacew/ Ancient Viking Glass Beads

Northern Europe, Viking or Norse culture, ca. 8th to 11th century CE. A beautiful necklace comprised of 22 free-blown glass beads of a pale seafoam-green hue and strung on a modern, sterling silver chain. Each spherical bead boasts inlaid circular areas of yellow, crimson, ruby, and black glass, and faint silvery and rainbow-hued iridescence cover the exterior surfaces. Two beads hang from the center as a drop pendant and provide for an elegant aesthetic. The necklace is capped with a sterling silver S-hook and loop combo, making this a stylish and wearable necklace! Size (necklace): 15.5" L (39.4 cm); size (largest bead): 0.625" W (1.6 cm); quality of sterling silver: 92.% or higher.

Condition: Strung in modern times and wearable as shown. Glass beads are ancient and sterling silver components are modern. Small chips to some beads, losses to some inlaid glass circles, and some bending to sterling silver components. Glass beads have light earthen deposits as well as faint silver and rainbow iridescence throughout.
