Ancient Greece, Hellenistic, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A shimmering, glimmering gold ring comprised of 95% gold (equivalent to 22K+) with an engraved god or goddess standing within a naiskos (a small temple of classical order with columns and a pediment nicely delineated). A wonderful example of ancient Greek wearable art, perfect for any appreciator of Greek mythology and classical architecture. Size: face/table measures .875" in diameter (2.2 cm); opening measures .875" in diameter (2.2 cm); US ring size 9.5 to 9.75; Total weight: 9.1 grams.

Condition: Normal bending to the table/face of the ring. Surface wear with scratches commensurate with age. Gold has developed a beautiful warm patina over the ages.
