Coin: Greece, Macedonia under Roman rule, Amphipolis, silver tetradrachm, struck after 168 CE at Amphipolis. Obverse: Diademed head of Artemis Tauropolos facing right with quiver over shoulder in the center of a Macedonian shield, shield decorated with seven eight-pointed stars within double crescents. Reverse: Club of Herakles within oak wreath, monograms and legend around, thunderbolt at left. SNG Cop: 1314. Set into a beautiful modern 22K+ gold pendant with a delicate wheel motif on its face that matches the motif on the edge of the coin. Size: 1.5" W (3.8 cm); total weight: 23.6 grams
