20th C. Tibetan Bronze Scroll Weight w/ Dorjes

Central Asia, Tibet, ca. early 20th century CE. A finely cast bronze scroll weight, the long central section adorned with three panels of incised meandering Greek key motifs, each end resolving in a gorgeous dorje terminal - the dorje being a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism that represents the moment of Enlightenment. Size: 7.25" W (18.4 cm)

Condition: Minor wear commensurate with age and a few casting flaws. Nice patina to central section. Dorje termini have been polished.
