Lot of 143 Ancient Greek / Roman Bronze Coins, 378.1 g

Classical World, Greece and Rome, ca. 4th century BCE to 4th century CE. A wonderful gathering of one-hundred-and-forty-three cast bronze coins from ancient Greece and ancient Rome. Each coin displays a face on the obverse side and a myriad of different details on the reverse, though most are heavily faded. All of the coins are covered in lustrous layers of russet, green, and/or blue-green patina. Size of largest: 1.15" W (2.9 cm); total weight: 378.1 grams.

Condition: Fading to most obverse and reverse details, with small nicks and chips to peripheries of some coins, and light encrustations. Light earthen deposits and nice patina throughout.
