Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. This beautiful mold-formed pale green translucent glass vessel has a slightly dimpled base with a smooth pontil, a thick and rotund spherical body, wide shoulders tapering to a squat tubular neck, a thick flat rim, and two applied free-form undulating handles. Wonderful silvery/rainbow iridescence present throughout. Size: 2.75″ W x 3″ H (7 cm x 7.6 cm)

Condition: Intact and quite exceptional with gorgeous silvery and rainbow iridescence
