Rare Early 20th C. Ifaguo Wood Loom Component

Southeast Asia, Philippines, Ifugao province, ca. early 20th century CE. A large, hand-carved dark wood component for a loom. In high relief on one side is a human figure and an abstract, swirling motif. A large cutout section from the upper center is the functional part of the item. A pretty piece of folk art! Size: 2.7" W x 23" H (6.9 cm x 58.4 cm)

Condition: Small scratches on surface commensurate with age. Nice dark wood surface.
