Ancient Near East, Sumeria, ca. 3rd to 2nd millennium BCE. A gorgeous necklace composed of stone and faience beads in a well-balanced design that alternates between the larger rounded and lozenge shaped beads of hues ranging from yellow ochre to rose-beige - and groups of smaller beads of white, seafoam green, and cream hues. Comprised of ancient beads and strung in modern times, this is a wonderful and wearable example! Size: 26" L (66 cm)

Condition: Expected surface wear, some beads with nicks, commensurate with age. All beads are ancient. Gold tone clasp is modern. Strung in modern times. Lovely and wearable.
